ROME, ITALY & WASHINGTON, D.C. October 23, 2025— Hupside, the software company that measures and amplifies human Original Intelligence (OI), announced today that CEO and co-founder Jonathan Aberman is leading an academic collaboration with the Frank J. Guarini School of Business and the Institute for Entrepreneurship at John Cabot University (JCU) in Rome to help students and professors navigate the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence (AI).

As part of JCU’s expanding focus on AI literacy and preparedness, Aberman is leading a series of interactive workshops and lectures that help students and faculty use AI as a catalyst for learning, creativity, and innovation while preserving the human originality that drives deeper insight. The initiative builds on Aberman’s role as U.S. Visiting Executive Entrepreneur in Residence and marks a new phase in his collaboration with JCU to shape AI education.

“AI can be an incredible tool, but only if we use it to strengthen what makes us human: our ability to think creatively and independently,” said Jonathan Aberman, CEO and co-founder of Hupside. “AI doesn’t actually think; it predicts. If we just accept what it gives us, we stop thinking for ourselves. At JCU, we’re helping students and professors learn to use AI thoughtfully, as a way to expand their ideas and judgment rather than replace them. This is how we prepare the next generation to lead in a world where human originality is the true competitive advantage.”

“At John Cabot University, we see AI literacy as a vital part of modern education,” said Luigi Nasta, Assistant Professor of Management and Director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship. “Our goal is to give students and faculty the knowledge and confidence to engage critically with AI and use it to strengthen their creativity, originality, and judgment. This collaboration with Jonathan builds on that mission, helping us shape a thoughtful, human-centered approach to teaching and learning in the age of AI.”

To bolster its academic offering in artificial intelligence, the Frank J. Guarini School of Business and the Institute for Entrepreneurship at John Cabot University are expanding their efforts to help students and educators navigate the opportunities and challenges of AI. The initiative, which includes guest lectures and hands-on workshops, equips participants with the skills to use AI responsibly while strengthening critical thinking and originality. This work represents the university’s first step toward developing a broader AI-focused curriculum and sets a model for how academic institutions can prepare the next generation to thrive in an AI-driven world.
